A Steady Descent into the Soil is the debut LP from St. Catharines, Ontario's Vile Creature. Crafted during winter 2014 and recorded in an abandoned school house in rural Canada, the record acts as a cull of emotions derived from the inherent violence and hatred experienced growing up queer around the millennium, a time much less homo-positive than today's landscape. Three songs of fuzzed-out atmospheric doom are sprawled over nearly 40 minutes, creating a record described as "wonderfully unique" and "undeniably original" by Noisey & Metal Injection, respectively.
