As usual, the new Light Sounds Dark mixtape/compilation–this time a double pack spanning 8 vinyl sides–takes us through unknown territory. Unknown in the sense that neither artists nor tracks are specified. At the same time, however, it is also familiar, as we once again encounter the mixture that made the previous parts of the series so special: Early and not-so-early industrial, drone and ambient pieces from long-lost cassettes. All in all, a rather gloomy affair that is sometimes interrupted by cosmic overtones or noisy synth pieces.
